Enjoy delicious food at the traditional eel restaurant inside the newly reborn Tokyu Plaza Shibuya right in front of the Shibuya Station.
Shibuya Matsukawa is situated on the 6th floor (restaurant floor) of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya (aka Shibuya Fukuras), which reopened in December 2019 right in front of the Shibuya Station. You can enjoy our eel dishes in different settings, including dining after shopping, having dinner with someone special, or client entertainment, at our long-established restaurant directly connected to the train station.
Edomae Kabayaki which adds a "steaming" process is soft and fluffy, a masterpiece that a specialized restaurant can offer where experienced chefs broil live eels with their professional skills. Enjoy not only our popular Una-ju but also our new menu "Zei wo Tsukushita Una-don" (Una-don with every luxury imaginable) .
-just like our main restaurant, the dishes with our traditional flavor made with our unique ideas are available here, which include "Eel sushi" that you can eat with a refreshing vinegared rice and "Shirayaki set meal" which is a meal of eels broiled without sauce that comes with Ponzu, "Unakimoyaki-ju" where Kabayaki and liver are mixed, which you cannot find anywhere else.
We serve eel dishes that satisfy eel dish fans including Una-ju, Una-don, "Hitsumabushi" with a lot of spices, hot "Umaki" and refreshing "Uzaku". We also have a variety of a la carte dishes that are a great side dish for sake, which are also popular. Set meals and course meals are also available. We also have a selection of beer, shochu, sake and wine. Please come enjoy a luxurious lunch or a party with your friends and family.

Though less well-known, Kabayaki and eel sushi as souvenirs are also popular products of Matsukawa. As eel souvenirs are put in dedicated lunchboxes, you can give it to the other person as it is.
An old, prestigious restaurant's eel food makes for a gorgeous souvenir. Of course, you can also enjoy the food at your hotel room alone leisurely, or share it with your beloved family.
